SR. TOOL DESIGNER | Tiffany & Co. | Cumberland, RI                                                                       2021 – PRESENT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:                                                                                                                             Industry: Luxury Goods

  • PRIMARY: 3D Tool design with drawings to support internal manufacturing across multiple facilities. (Basic tooling up to progressive tooling), Repair and rebuild part CAD files as necessary to ensure feasibility for tooling.  

  • SECONDARY: Develop and maintain CAD hardware and tooling libraries, control drawings ,vendor communications, raw materials and hardware sourcing.

NOTABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

  • Overhaul Tooling Library, created hardware library, streamlined design to tooling workflow, integrated 3D printing.

  • PROJECT EXAMPLES: Consumer jewelry line, Iconic trophies and luxury goods, premium jewelry line including: Tiffany SDR engagement ring, Nascar Sprint Cup, World Series Trophy, and Vince Lombardi Trophy NBA, MLB, NFL, MLS, PGA.

  • PRIMARY: R&D and Design engineering on industrial control valves with industry disrupting technology.

  • SECONDARY: Control drawings and data management, manufacturing process improvements, assembly and testing, QA qualification, developed revision tracking system, equipment acquisition, develop SOPs ISO certified facility

  • Spearheaded CAD architecture overhaul and expanded core line from 36 Models to over 100 in a 2-year timeframe.
